Scouts run the troop
Scouts elect their Senior Patrol Leader and patrol leaders, plan the calendar at our Mega PLC planning days, and run meetings and campouts. Adults coach, teach and keep everyone safe.
Since 1930
For nearly a century, Troop 75 has been where Delmar's young people learn to camp, paddle, lead and serve. Today we're one of the largest troops in the area, and still growing.

Troop 75 has been part of Delmar since 1930. For more than nine decades, generations of Scouts have learned to pitch a tent, paddle a canoe and lead a patrol here, and the troop marked its 95th anniversary with a special troop patch.
Today Troop 75 is a Family Troop of 94 Scouts, boys and girls in grades 6 through 12, with 67 registered adult volunteers. We're part of the Fort Orange District of Twin Rivers Council, and chartered by Delmar Reformed Church, where we meet every Wednesday.
Scouting America, formerly the Boy Scouts of America, helps young people grow in character, citizenship and personal fitness through a program of outdoor adventure, service and leadership. In a troop, that happens through the patrol method: Scouts work in small teams, take on real responsibility and learn by doing, guided by trained adults.
Every Troop 75 Scout and leader wears the troop's own patch on their uniform: a big green 75 on uniform tan, with DELMAR, NEW YORK beneath it. It's also the troop's logo, the one at the top of every page of this site.

You'll see us as Troop 75 on our uniforms, our trailer and around town. Several troops across the country share the number 75, so Scouting America's records give us the unique number 1075. That's the number you'll see on official forms and on our web address, troop1075.org. Same troop, same Scouts.

Our home since 2022: a community of faith that welcomes all, at Delmar’s Four Corners since 1841. The church sponsors the troop, hosts our weekly meetings and partners with us on service and fundraisers.
